The Bath Enclosure Manufacturers Association is dedicated to raising consumer awareness of the advantages of bath enclosures as the durable and aesthetic high-quality choice for containing shower water in today’s bathroom. BEMA's membership is comprised of Active, Associate, Affiliate, and Dealer/Installer Members. Any individual, firm, or corporation shall be eligible for membership upon meeting membership requirements as established in the Association's Bylaws.

     When you join the Bath Enclosure Manufacturing Association, you become more than just a member. BEMA works hard to ensure the popularity of bath enclosures with the general public, promotes cooperation among related industry associations and excellence in industry practices. BEMA gives you the tools you need to help advance the collective interests of the bath enclosure industry, including the promotion of uniform and fair building code requirements.

ACTIVE MEMBERS: Membership is available to any firm or corporation that is actively engaged in bath enclosure manufacturing and provided:

  • The firm has been manufacturing enclosures for a minimum of (1) one year prior to application. A manufacturer is defined as any firm who purchases bulk extrusions and converts those to fabricated bath enclosures.
  • The primary source of business of the member firm or corporate division is Bath Enclosure Manufacturing.
  • The firm or corporation does not engage in unethical or improper business practices nor condones improper business conduct of employees.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS: Membership is available to any firm or corporation that is associated with and serves as a supplier of product to the Bath Enclosure Industry. The associate member shall be entitled to partake in all Association activities, but cannot vote or hold office.

DEALER MEMBERS: To encourage this segment of BEMA membership the Association is sponsoring a special membership recruitment rate for 2003-2004. Membership is available to any firm or corporation that purchases bath enclosures or bath enclosure components and either sells and/or installs custom bath enclosures or standard bath enclosures.  Dealer members shall be entitled to participate in all Association activities as determined by the Board of Directors, but shall have no voting power and can hold no office. In addition, dealer members will be included in an online database for consumers. The database will allow consumers to search for a BEMA dealer member near them.
